New Thought was operational also for clarifying the reasons why people are rich or poor. Since times immemorial humans have pondered this question, but without much insight. At the end of the day, it was always boiling down to some sort of ‘predestined’ fate that at bottom was believed to be the cause of riches or the curse of poverty.
Today we know there is no such thing as predestination; we are masters of our fate, and the reasons why people are rich or poor are subject to rational scrutiny. It all depends on how they envision themselves down the road, how they ‘think themselves rich’ or how they program themselves positively.
We all can do that. In addition, it depends on how we were reared, how we could, or could not, already in childhood have positive and rich people around, preferably the parents and teachers, who were conditioning us for seeking abundance, instead of indulging in scarcity thinking.
